Research at Cardiff School of Engineering


The Cardiff School of Engineering was ranked among the top ten combined engineering schools in the UK in the Research Assessment Exercise 2008.  We approach research as a collaborative and innovative enterprise, involving amongst others, industrial partners, research organisations and other universities. Within the School, key research themes (as illustrated in the matrix below) and our seven multidisciplinary research institutes provide a strong framework to sustain our dynamic leading edge research culture.
